TASTE-O-METER Rating:
"Blue Lotus Chai is prepared with just 1/4 tsp per cup of chai. Now you're probably thinking, how could 1/4 teaspoon do much of anything? Well, suffice it to say that you'd be quite wrong. This is a highly potent chai mix with intense spices. They are fresh and highly concentrated. Now, there are no non-dairy creamers and no sweeteners of any kind here. The idea is for you to add your own. Notice also that the 1/4 tsp is to be mixed with only 4oz boiling water. That's because the traditional chai preparation is to mix the brewed tea (in water) with milk in a 50/50 ratio. So adding 4oz milk or milk substitute will yield an 8oz cup of chai. Then add a tsp of honey, sugar, Xylitol, Stevia... whatever tickles your fancy... and there you go. A perfect cup. My favorite way to use Blue Lotus is to start with a chai mix that is on the sweet side, like Say When, for example, and then add just a touch of Blue Lotus to give it a little extra kick. But be careful. A little of this goes a loooooong way.
